The Graf Adolf Platz/Strasse is itself a case of deNazification; my mother, who was in Germany in 1938, pointed out that it would have been the Adolf Hitler Platz before the war.

Tomarse su tiempo para impartir una charla que presenta qué sucedió en la trastienda de los libros que no solo en EEUU acompañaron a muchos niños es toda una contribución que merece ser reconocida Sra. Meredith Tomeo. Se lo agradecemos.

wHAT PERCENTATGE OF SOUTHERNERS OWNED SLAVES>? Is there a big difference between judging all blacks as thugs or all Irish as drunks, or all the southerners negatively due to the Slavery? I would guess the percentage of drunk Irish and thug blacks were small as were the percentage of slavery supporting southerners.

Constitutional monarchy can be very democratic. An example is Norway 🇳🇴 who gave women the vote in 1905 or the Netherlands 🇳🇱 where the monarch is only representative. Many republics have developed into authoritarian regimes, so I don't quite agree with David, although he's brilliant on the French Revolution 👏

Madame Roland was very influential in the French Revolution. So women, their voices and wants were heard. Women's emancipation was years away, though. The French Revolution was a middle-class revolution

Napoleon had a liberal mindset as he embraced the liberal ideas of the Enlightenment even when acting as a dictator, sending millions to their death. Napoleon called himself the (French) Revolution on horseback.

Are you guys looking for the Marquette and Bessemer no2? I have a theory that she’s off Geneva. She made it to port Stanley and then turned around. People on that side heard her. Four hours later She THOUGHT she made it back to conneaut when she started to get swamped, and the reports of seeing her on the ohio side were also legit, but she had really been pushed 15 miles west and couldn’t find the harbor she thought was there. Couldn’t find Ashtabula either. And so she went down between Ashtabula and Geneva, just outside the shipping lane.

Federalist literally means divided power, not centralized power. So The Federalist Society being against centralized power is not a contradiction. The opposite of a federalist system would be like what France has.

Rose Wilder Lane doesn’t sound she was a the best of people. It seems like she was mean to her parents, maybe a little loose as a woman especially for her time, she didn’t even respect Laura’s wishes for how to treat her estate which she worked so hard for
